The location of the hotel was excellent, very close to Carlisle town centre. It was close enough to nearby restaurants, a beautiful park/river, and the train station. - the staff was helpful and fabulous.

I had an excellent stay here and would stay here again. The property was stunningly beautiful and interesting. The location was marvellous and unbeatable, for example, Carlisle Castle was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the hotel. I greatly enjoyed that the venue was 20 minutes drive from the airport. I had a single room included with the tea, very comfortable bed and lovely breakfast. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and the service was good.

The only minor issue is that the shower head in one of the rooms kept falling down, requiring guests to adjust their position for a good shower.

The twin room we booked for 2 nights was impeccably clean, had convenient amenities like an electric kettle, central heating, and a television.
